Often when inspections of galvanized constructions are carried out on site, discussions arise about how different appearances and minor deviations from what is expected should be handled. This is stated in clause 6.1 of the EN ISO 1461 standard, but sometimes the information can be interpreted in different ways by the inspector, customer and galvanizer. To make it easier for the parties to come to a common view, NG has developed a simple guideline. The aim with the guideline is to show what should be accepted/not accepted in assessment of galvanized steel, for example in connection with final inspection.
